
Thomas C. Kang, DDS, DICOI
Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists**
Dr. Kang became a dentist in 2003 after graduating from the Dugoni School of Dentistry at the University of the Pacific. Following graduation Dr. Kang was selected as one of three candidates to participate in the post-doctoral training program at the University of Pittsburghs' graduate periodontal and implant training program. During his tenure at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Kang conducted research on implant dentistry, specifically with regards to immediate implant temporization. Dr. Kang has also conducted research on how osteoporosis affects periodontal health in men and in women. The doctor’s first practice was opened in September of 2006 in Federal Way, and rapidly became the premier center for implant dentistry in the south end. First Hill Dental Implant Center was created to address the same needs in an ideal location for the entire Puget Sound region.
Dr. Kang is married to Dr. Katie Kim and they have two sons, Michael and Marcus. Dr. Kang enjoys spending time with family, learning about technology, and advancing both patient and doctor understanding of implant dentistry.

Kevin R. Suzuki, DMD, MS, DICOI

Dr. Suzuki graduated with his DMD from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He recently completed his residency in Periodontics and Oral Implantology and Masters of Science at Temple University School of Dentistry, Philadelphia, PA. Kevin trained under the tutelage of Professor Carl Misch , Director of Oral Implantology and Professor Jon Suzuki, Program Director, both at Temple University. Kevin’s research explored implant site preparation bone grafting in Macaca fascicularis in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Kevin is an advocate for continuing education so he is able to provide the most advanced treatments possible in caring for his patients.
Kevin is an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. His hobbies include swimming, volleyball, martial arts, and guitar. He resides in Gig Harbor, WA
Andrea Buntjer
Andrea started her career as a clinical assistant 14 years ago and has been with First Hill Dental Implant Center since its inception in June of 2008. She enjoys working with our patients to help them improve their smiles and oral health. Andrea is an indispensible leader to our team who is well liked by her colleagues and patients. When Andrea is out of the office she enjoys hiking and cycling. She is also a car and motorcycle enthusiast!
Jessica Addison, RDA
Jessica has 10 years of experience as a clinical assistant. She began dental assisting in 2001, and has worked in several offices including a cosmetic specialist practice and a TMD specialist practice. Jessica has been with First Hill Dental Implant Center since 2009 and is a valued member of our team. In her spare time she enjoys reading, playing racquetball and spending time with her family and friends.
Gena Aiello
As Administrative Manager of our practice, Gena oversees the day-to-day operation of the office. Since joining our practice in February 2009, she has worked diligently to help our patients feel welcome in our office and important as individuals. Along with Teresa, she works closely with our referring doctors and their teams to ensure that referred patients have a smooth transition between offices. When Gena is away from the office she enjoys boating with her husband, reads as much as possible, and loves spending time with her family and friends.
Teresa Skepetaris
Teresa joined us in November of 2009 and is an important and critical member of our team. As our Patient and Financial Coordinator, she works closely with our patients so they have the information they need to talk with their insurance companies to achieve their maximum benefits. Teresa’s enthusiasm and genuine care for our patients helps them to feel at ease and know they are valued and in very good hands. She is married and has two sons who keep her extremely busy with school activities and the many soccer teams they are on!
